Dear <<First Name>>,

We all know it: pets are good for us! They lower the heart rate, relieve depression, decrease hypertension and the risk of obesity and allergies. Together with Animal Health Europe and the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe, FECAVA produced an infographic to raise awareness about the benefits and responsibilities of pet ownership.
Furthermore, this year's BSAVA congress was the occasion for FECAVA to raise awareness about healthy breeding, with an airflow-reduction mask to simulate brachy breathing.

Read about this and more - and check out our selection of free webinars and open access papers as well as our monthly book review. Enjoy!

Book review

By Caroline Blundell, UK
I leapt on the chance to review this volume! Feline Anesthesia and Pain Management provides a welcome and very valuable addition to the gradually expanding feline canon. Recent similar publications are often focused on dogs, the last similar veterinary textbook (Anaesthesia of the Cat, edited by Hall and Taylor) being published in 1994.
With increasing numbers of cats under our care, and in a subject where our knowledge has improved and our understanding of species differences
